Hi I'm Svitlana Lisivka Markovets (Lee Mark)

I live and work in Ukraine in the city of Kyiv. Now my country is at war with Russia. But I am as safe as possible and continue to work.

I write in different techniques and styles, sometimes completely opposite. Realism, abstraction, landscape, animals, still life - I'm interested in trying everything.

But most of all I like painting in oils. in my author's technique - as I call it "Network". These works seem to be woven with a brush and imitate weaving and mesh. The creation of each such work requires many stages and a lot of time. It is very difficult to choose an object or subject. Therefore, each of them is unique and inimitable. At every exhibition, it is near these works that viewers stop and look at them for a long time. There is always a bit of fairy tale and magic in these works.

Artist for 10 years

I graduated from the university in my hometown in 2006 with a degree in art. At first, I combined work on other projects with painting. But since 2014, I have devoted myself entirely to painting.

In recent years, I have not been able to hold an exhibition due to the introduction of quarantine. And since 2022, my country was attacked by Russia. I continue to work and look forward to the end of the war, so that all borders will be open again and there will be no barriers.
